How to Pair Earbuds to Phone, PC or TV

Pairing my earbuds with my device is simple, ensuring the best sound quality and a seamless connection. If you’re new to wireless earbuds or need a quick refresher, knowing how to pair earbuds properly is essential for optimal performance.

How to Pair Earbuds to Phone

I will show you how to pair earbuds to a phone, specifically Iommi my earbuds. These are the perfect earbuds that I bought online.

  1. Preparing the Earbuds
    First, make sure you put both of these earbuds back in the box and close it. Open it again, and you should see the red light on both. Remove the earbuds from the box, one at a time.
  2. Pairing the Earbuds
    Now, hold both of the earbuds at the same time. Press and hold the button on both earbuds for 3 seconds. After doing so, you will see that the left earbud’s light will turn off, and the right one will start blinking. This indicates that the earbuds are connected and are waiting for your smartphone to connect.
  3. Connecting the Right Earbud to Your Smartphone
    The right earbud is now in pairing mode, and you will see it in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Go to the Bluetooth area and turn on Bluetooth. Then, click to pair the devices. Once paired, you will hear sound from both earbuds.
  4. Using Only One Earbud
    If you want to use only one earbud, put both back in the box. Then, take one earbud that is blinking and connect it to your phone. You will see either the left or right earbud option, and you can choose the one you want.

How to Pair Earbuds to Laptop

Now, I will guide you on pairing earbuds or headphones wirelessly with your laptop. So, let’s start the process.

  1. Locate the Bluetooth Option on Your Laptop
    So, I now have two earbuds, and I will connect these to my laptop wirelessly with the help of Bluetooth. First, you will see the Bluetooth option on your computer in the right corner. Just enable your Bluetooth from here.
  2. Alternate Method if Bluetooth Option is Missing
    If you don’t have any Bluetooth option here, the other method you can apply is to click on this Windows icon and then click on the settings option. Now, click on this option called Devices. On the left side, you will get this option for Bluetooth; click on it.
  3. Turn On Bluetooth and Add Device
    Now, first, turn on your Bluetooth option. After that, click on the Add Bluetooth or other device option. Now, click on Bluetooth.
  4. Put Earbuds in Pairing Mode
    What I will do now is put both the earbuds out of their box. These are the two earbuds I have. Now, the searching mode is on my laptop, and it will try to search for my earbuds. Please wait a few seconds; here, you can see my earbud options.
  5. Connect Earbuds
    Click on the earbuds option, and you will see Connected. The earbuds are now connected to my laptop.

Check Battery and Disconnect if Needed

If you close this window and click Done, you can see my earbuds here. You can also check the battery performance of your earbuds as well. If you want to disconnect the earbuds from your laptop, click the Disconnect option. Or, if you want to remove this device from your computer, click the Remove Device option.

How to Pair Earbuds to TV

Now, I will show you how to pair any earbuds to any Android Smart TV. First, if your Arbunpairs are connected to any other devices, then unpaiarbuds from previously connected devices are needed.

  1. Resetting Your Earbuds
    After this, you need to reset your earbuds. There should be a reset button, so open the case of your earbuds and press and hold the reset button. If you don’t know how to reset your earbuds, watch the YouTube video about your earbuds. In my case, I have a reset button at the back, so I press and hold that reset button for a few seconds.
  2. Accessing Smart TV Settings
    Go to your Smart TV settings. Open your Android Smart TV settings and find the Bluetooth option, which should be in the remote and accessories. Open remotes and accessories and then select “Add Accessories.”
  3. Pairing the Earbuds with TV
    Open it, and select OK. As you can see, my earbuds are showing. Just choose your earbuds and press the OK button on your remote. Then select “Pair,” and that’s it. Your earbuds will be connected.
  4. Troubleshooting Audio Output
    Now, the TV output sound will come in the earbuds. If the sound is not coming through the earbuds, select your TV’s output sound option. Select the output sound to “Earbuds” from the TV speaker.

To pair JBL 5 Buds with an Android smartphone:

  • Remove the earbuds from the charging case and remove the plastic piece covering the charging points.
  • Place the earbuds back in the case for a second, then take them out again. This will activate the earbuds.
  • The earbuds should enter Bluetooth pairing mode with a blinking blue LED. If not, double-tap one earbud, then hold it for 5 seconds.
  • If a pop-up appears on your Android phone, it supports Google Fast Pair. Accept to pair. You can skip further steps if you like.
